Devon is a UK and South Africa–based wildlife and travel photographer, driven by a passion for exploration and conservation. With a focus on capturing untamed landscapes and the creatures that inhabit them, Devon’s work blends the curiosity of an adventurer with the precision of a storyteller — bringing the wild closer to those who seek it.
My Photography to Date.
My connection to the wild began long before I ever picked up a camera. From just six months old, I was visiting Kruger National Park with my family — a tradition that shaped my love for nature and adventure. At seven years old, I fell in love with the camera, discovering a way to frame and share the moments that made me stop and look closer.
Life took me through years of study and professional work, and though photography slowed during that time, the passion never disappeared — it simply waited. In recent years, it’s come back to life stronger than ever, carrying me from South Africa’s iconic reserves to the mountains and coastlines of Europe, and deep into Southeast Asia — Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia’s Komodo National Park, and beyond.
Through all those travels, one truth became clear: wildlife photography is where my heart lies. Whether it’s the quiet authority of a buffalo in the dust, the energy of wild dogs on the move, or the first light spilling over a Kruger horizon, I aim to capture more than just images — I aim to tell stories.
My goal is to travel and photograph wildlife across the globe, offering prints that bring those moments into homes and spaces everywhere, while using my work to support conservation. Photography, for me, is both a calling and a contribution — a way to honour the wild and remind us all of what’s worth protecting.
